2012年8月10日-12日首届“技术促进教育变革国际会议（The First International Conference of Educational Innovation through Technology, EITT2012）”在清华大学隆重召开。会议邀请国内外知名华人科技与教育的研究者来发表相关研究发现与交换经验。张宝辉教授应邀并携团队成员曹俏俏、王颖、梁乐明和张金磊参加此次会议张宝辉教授在会议期间担任了会议主持人的工作并做了题为《Developing a Sustainable iMVT Pedagogy in Chemistry: Challenges and Strategies for Education Change》的报告。张教授基于实证的研究获得参会专家的强烈共鸣，并进行了深入的讨论交流。

此外，会议期间成立了国际华人教育技术学会亚太地区分会，张宝辉教授出任该分会的理事。

张宝辉教授的报告摘要如下：

Abstract: Educational technology or ICT is often part of school reform and education change nowdays. Educational technology should be integrated in subject learning and bears affordances that enhance subject learning . Further, a technology integrated innovative pedagogy should be sustainable in order to have real impact on learning. Based on such observation and belifs, we describe how we have been developing an iMVT Pedagogy for secondary school chemistry and making it sustainable in Singapore Secondary School. Process data and outcome date were collected and analysised. Our results showed that it took time, collective efforts, and system change in the schools in order to sustain the iMVT pedagogy.
