2012年7月，张宝辉教授在国际学习科学年会（ICLS2012）上又一次见到了国际著名学习科学学者詹妮特·科洛德纳（Janet Kolodner）教授，她是ICLS2012会议的主题发言人之一。在会议期间的交谈中，科洛德纳教授表达了和中国学者探索合作机会的愿望。在双方的共同努力下，张宝辉教授于 2013年2月4日-6日第二次访问了美国国家科学基金会并再次做报告。

An Overview of China Science Education Research in a Global Age

Baohui Zhang

Abstract: This will be the 2^nd time that Dr. Baohui Zhang visits the National Science Foundation since Mar. 31, 2011. He will provide a brief overview of Chinese research in STEM learning and learning technologies based on his one and a half years’ experience in China. As a newly-added board member of the Chinese Science Education Association, informally, he would like to work with the audience to brainstorm about possible ways of moving forward towards some Chinese funding organizations to NSF interactions in regards to topics like the PISA test and potentials to future collaboration between Chinese and American scholars using existing models such as the Sweden’s Future Call to Fund Collaborations with China (http://www.formas.se/en/Press-News/News/Future-call-to-fund-collaborations-with-China).
